On Thursday 7th November, four of our STEM teams competed in the SEQ Advanced Manufacturing Project Showcase at Hillcrest Cristian College. Amazingly we came away with two trophies. Banjo Kumar and Lachlan List were awarded the peer prize for the junior secondary showcase. Elise Nguyen, a year 9 student competing in the senior secondary division (years 10-12), went on to win the senior secondary showcase. Other students that competed included Paige O'Brien, Charlotte Mainey, Cindy McDonnell-Ngo, Phoenix Reinke, Andrew McKay, and Adrian Lowe. Thank you to Mr. Grant Grierson and the Technologies department for all the hard work they have done coaching and preparing these amazing students for this event.
